Melbourne’s largest Christmas decoration given a Neon makeover
Firefly Lighting partnered with Gary Darlinson from Ultralec Electrical Services to provide FloppyFlex® LED Neon to give the star a makeover. Every December, Melbourne looks for its moment of magic, and Evan Walker Bridge became exactly that. Firefly's Christmas installation turned a well loved city crossing into a seasonal landmark, warm light strung across the span, catching the reflection of the Yarra below and giving locals and visitors alike a reason to stop mid walk and take it in.
It's the kind of installation built for a short season and a long memory, up in time for the city's countdown to Christmas, down before the new year, but remembered by everyone who crossed the bridge while it glowed.
